How To Help Others – Spiritual Life Coach London

To help others who are struggling with something you’re good at or isn’t an issue for you requires you to see the situation through their eyes.

Instead of telling the person how, that it’s easy and ‘all’ you need to do this ‘this’… this doesn’t help them. It can just make them feel worse… So what do you do?

Watch my video below where I explain what you should do instead to help others!

Try and understand from their point of view, where they are coming from. Then break down the situation to make one small change which will result in just one small improvement.

E.g. if someone struggles to make conversation in social groups and is very shy: Advise them to instead of worrying their head off while the other person is talking and thinking about what on earth they will or should say next to be accepted or liked by the person… take a breath, forget about saying anything and just listen to exactly what they are saying.

Then in a more calm state and focusing on the other person a response is more likely to surface for the shy person. TIP: don’t second guess what you should or shouldn’t say, sometimes just saying what you want to say is the perfect response.

Buy Locally Produced Foods and Services – Environmentally Healthy Living Part 6

Guest Blog Post: Bronwyn Woodgate

Envrionmentally Healthy Living – Buy Locally Produced Foods & Services

To reduce ‘food miles’ as well as promote the local community, purchase goods and services from your local supermarket or shopping centre.

Also, employ services which are located close to where you live.

This will reduce materials consumed through travel, as well as decrease the energy consumption of transporting foods into your house.

This also promotes the local community by building stronger relationships between producers and consumers.

Go Vegetarian once a week – Healthy Living Part 5

Guest Blog Post – Bronwyn Woodgate

Welcome to part 5 of ‘Environmentally Healthy Living’ Go Vegetarian once a week (or more..!)

To reduce your environmental impact through your consumption of foods, go vegetarian once a week.

Meat free Monday is a campaign started by Sir Paul McCartney and his daughters Stella and Mary.

The goals for this campaign are to reduce pollution, alleviate world hunger, promote animal rights and encourage better health.

Being vegetarian for one day per week will not only save you money but will make you feel healthier while furthering your appreciation of meat.

Do you have a favourite vegetarian or Vegan recipe to share? We would love to hear from you by writing it in the comments below!
